WP 6: Exploitation of the project results

11/03/2013 05:23:00

Objectives
The project results will be fundamental for building competency and facilitating the participation of PS in the EU
Framework Programme, especially in the field of seismic risk mitigation research. In addition, the project will
enhance EU-regional cooperation and networking by increasing the regional role of the European Commission in
general and of FP7 in particular.
Description of

Description of work and role partners

Task 6.1 Development of an exploitation plan
Participants: NNU, EUCENTRE
Dissemination and exploitation of the results obtained throughout the project are an integral part of the basic
steps that characterise this proposal. The dissemination plan developed during WP5, which will be updated
regularly, will constitute the basis of the project exploitation plan. The latter will be developed for individual and
collective exploitation of the project results by each project partner and can be used to identify and find new end
users based on the experience from the dissemination activities.

Task 6.2 Project idea database
Participants: NNU, EUCENTRE
A new section of the SASPARM web site, developed in WP5, will be dedicated to the creation of a project
idea database where NNU will collect project ideas in order to enhance the participation of PS in the Seventh
Framework Programme or other European Programmes in the field of seismic risk mitigation research. This
section will be regularly updated and expanded by NNU personnel providing all necessary information to find a
project idea, to search by keywords and type of funding scheme, to search by countries required for partnership
and to make possible useful contacts. In addition, this section will make it possible for potential partners to
submit new project ideas and look for cooperation with NNU converted (as a result of the full project activities)
into a national and regional research centre of excellence in the field of seismic risk mitigation.

Task 6.3 Organization of a final workshop
Participants: NNU, EUCENTRE
NNU staff, with the support of the European partners, lastly, will implement the organisation of the final
international workshop involving potential end-users, stakeholders, experts in seismic risk mitigation as well
as contribution from regional research centres in other Mediterranean Countries. During this workshop, the
recommendations for the sustainability and the long-lasting positive effect of the project will be defined.
